Frequently Asked Questions

Below is a list of commonly asked questions that you may have. If you have a question that is not listed below, feel free to contact us!

How is the learning process at your school?

Every child is unique. At Little Prodigies, we understand that every child learns differently. Maximizing critical brain development windows is our primary priority when it comes to early learning, and we do all we can to help our students progress. Through our academic and creative arts components, we provide a fun, playful, and challenging experience to early learning. Using critical brain development windows and research as our guides, we try to maximize every moment with our little prodigies.  In comparison to several other local schools, our students are learning concepts a year ahead of their peers. Our challenging program readies your child for kindergarten and beyond, while stimulating an interest and a skill set in the creative arts.

In our classes, we offer a specialized curriculum  for each student that is based on observation and assessments from staff along with their developmental readiness. In our K3 and K4 classrooms, we have groups that your little prodigy advances through. Our final group is K4 Advanced which provides a foundation in Kindergarten concepts. Students are typically ready for this group by the age of 4 ½ and 5.  We promote students based on their readiness, not an arbitrary age deadline, however. Our unorthodox method of teaching has proven to be successful among children in the preschool age group. We offer small group learning, so our prodigies are able to have a more intimate learning experience. The hands on learning experience is a necessity for the preparedness of your little prodigy in our program.

Does my child have to be potty trained?

Students are not required to be potty trained. However, it does make the learning process easier.  At Little Prodigies, we caringly assist our students during the potty-training process. We do ask our parents to also assist and we will coordinate with the methods of potty-training that are practiced at home.
