Little Prodigies Music and Arts Center

We are very excited about our private performing  & fine arts preschool program! Our preschool program is designed for students 2-6 years of age. Our preschool is only located at our Nine Mile location.   It is our hope that through this program, we will be able to stimulate each child’s imagination to the excitement of the world around them. We strive to create a joy and love of learning both academically, and in the Arts through stimulating academic and artistic activities. DCF ID#:X01ES0056

Why Us?

1.Our Groundbreaking Curriculum

Students are provided with education of the highest caliber. Students will learn math, science, social skills, character skills, reading, and writing with their homeroom teacher. They  rotate through vocal training, instrumental music, art, dance, and tumbling classes taught by our highly trained staff. Our program infuses the arts and academic enrichment to maximize learning in the earliest years, which research has shown to be the most critical time for learning and brain development.

2. Our Faculty

We carefully search and recruit the best teachers for our program. Our interviewing process is extensive and selective. Our teachers are encouraging, inspiring, and innovative with their students.

3. Small Student/Teacher Ratio

Our student/teacher ratios are smaller than ratios designated by DCF. Our smaller class sizes allow teachers to focus more on the students’ individual needs and adjust the curriculum and activities accordingly for each individual student.

4. Our Faith-Based Environment

We are faith based through Englewood Baptist Church. The preschool started as a ministry and expanded as a full day preschool. Our students are given the opportunity to learn in a nurturing, faith-based environment. We are respectful and accommodating to all beliefs.

5. Our Director-Monya Love

As a mother of three daughters, Bella-Rose, Raina, and Ellia-Rae, our Director is passionate in seeing children receive quality care and education. Monya has spent her career working with children in a variety of capacities. She has served as an Escambia County School Teacher, Behavioral Health Rehabilitation Specialist, Children’s Case manager, and Youth Church Leader. She has a Bachelors of Sociology and a Masters of Public Administration. Presently, she is pursuing a Doctorate of Education. Her career experiences as a New Parent Support Home Visitor for the United States Navy were the catalyst for her to open Little Prodigies Music and Arts Center. Through these experiences, she received extensive training on maximizing brain development during the earliest years. It is her hope that through her training, continuous research, and innovative curriculum, she will be able to help you maximize your child’s brain development that will impact your child for a lifetime! She and her husband, Nathaniel Love, Co-Owner and proud Air Force veteran, truly enjoy serving the families in this community.
